Beer

In German, apparently Hell means pale or light. I cannot confirm or deny this. The following beer is brewed in Fücking, Austria.

OMG, WTF? is too clear!

It’s true. Helles or hell is more or less the opposite of dunkel (dark.) It was out of favor for a couple of decades when consumers preferred Pilsner types. It’s coming back around of late.

Fucking is a village of 104 souls, about 33 KM north of Salzburg. The beer is not made there, it is German beer and only named “for the village.” (Wink, wink.) And it took an appeal after the EU tradmarks agency rejected the first application. The beer’s been on the market since 2010.

Sounds like a lovely place for a Honeymoon.
