I commented on it that there is no business case to “save money” by removing efficiency equipment; the sorting machines must be restored.

My only thought is, that I am assuming the sorting machines in question are envelope sorters, I don’t believe parcels are quite as automated as the good old envelopes were…but lets face it, I think we all know there are a lot fewer envelopes flying back and forth than there used to be, all my Bills are online.
So it would not shock me that we may have had some excess capital equipment…
However, the optics of this are typical Trump afu, the timing alone is retarded af…But if it did reduce the USPS’ ability to process their current load of pieces…If I was Emperor, heads would be rolling.
