Jimmy Earl, Please don't go / The submarine rabbit is about to pounce

I’m hoping it’s just a subdural hematoma that can be drained without too much danger.

Hey, if Ginsburg can keep getting cancer and coming back, Jimmy can do it too!

“After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his many admirers.”

One of the better ones, he was my Commander In Chief back then.

Clearly the best ex-President we’ve been graced with as a nation.

What was morale like back in those days? How long did you serve?

I was just a few years after that episode served with guys that were off of Nam during that, guys that were pushing helo’s off the carrier deck to make room for more.

But tbh, while I was in morale wasn’t great, half the guys reminded me of Goldie Hawn in Private Benjamin, “Fuck why do I have to cut my hair and wear the same thing everyone else is wearing? I just wanted to see the world!”

Just to be accurate, that scene is from the Ford years.

Carter was a good man, maybe too good for the swamp that Washington is…
