Communism is kinda beautiful.

If you think about it, that’s how things should be

People shouldn’t lack the basics if some are swimming in resources

But the problem with communism, is that like ANY other ideology, won’t be implemented bu used as a means of control of people and economical dominance by few

Humanity IS NOT READY for any sort of total control over it

All the time I see people saying how others should give up their riches and open the borders to their lives, but aren’t willing to let go of what makes them undesirable.

Many systems and ideologies are great until you add the human element to the mix.

You know what sad?

Evil has already won the war. Right now they hold a gun on our heads, a knife on our throats, while we hang by a thread over a mile deep chasm.

All they need is one flick and we’re done.

Even if some sort of unprecedented, worldwide wide massive effort were to be take by 7 billion people, if the ones with the fingers on the buttons don’t want, there’s no way.

And even with that being the case, you have 90% of the sheep worshiping this or that wolf, swearing he’s the one who knows best.

LOL we’re so fucked.

I have hunch there has always been somebody saying the end is nigh, ever since we invented sitting in groups around the fire.

And many wished their peers had done something about it

Sometimes the whole world doesn’t end, but yours does

Like those two dudes that got in the way of someone’s trumpout yesterday.

Maybe he was angry at the muslims who killed 22 in the UK

Or the Christians that were mowed down by gunmen in Egypt

And those muslims probably thought they had a good reason too

Perhaps, but i don’t think my 2 neighbors in Portland were Muslim, let alone involved in anything in Manchester or Egypt.

If I said the teen girls who got killed in the UK had nothing to do with bombings in Syria, you could reply that many of the innocents in Iraq and Syria had nothing to do with Al Qaeda or ISIS and you’d be right.

You’ll never see me saying that these people have no reasons to hate the west. Maybe they lost loved ones, their homes and their business and they have nothing to lose.

But the way I see it, wanting your country to get destroyed won’t change things.

As much as oil and money might have influenced everything, you have to admit that Islam in itself is the basis of the problem. You see other countries entering civil war and it has nothing to do with Islam, but it’s silly denying that this so called religion only exacerbates all the problems with its insane teachings and overall behavior of its members.

Islam and the west don’t mix. They are too different and denying that will inevitably end up the way we see now.

My husband worked with a few Muslims when we lived in Vancouver. One of the guys from his office was from Baghdad. It was heartbreaking to talk to him during “Operation Freedom”. He was one of the nicest men I had ever met. He was gentle and sweet and never had a bad word for or about anyone (except the one time we played truth or dare and made him say something bad about someone - he told us a story about a guy on the bus who smelled like a skunk). I remember him being extremely sad the whole time the US was in Iraq.

His brother in law, on the other hand, who was also Muslim and from Lebanon and worked for my husband, got angry. As time wore on, he became more and more angry with the US. He hated Bush. He hated American soldiers. None of us could blame him but we all worried as he seemed the type to become radicalized. I think deep down, we understood that as well.

Both men moved back to the Middle East and are married with children, living happy lives.

The other Muslim in my husband’s office was a woman from Uzbekistan. She loved to drink and party and do fitness modelling in her spare time. She loves being a Canadian and has wholeheartedly embraced Canadian cultures and values.

These are the Muslims I know/knew enough to call friends. All of them were wonderful, kind, generous people. I saw all three of them fit perfectly fine in Canadian society despite claims that Islam and the west don’t mix. I never saw these supposed irreconcilable differences people keep claiming.

rec.

star trek takes place like 300 years from nor and it seems like utipoia.

You constantly cite your personal experience with muslims as if it somehow holds some relevance to the issue of muslim extremism.

It doesn’t have anything to do with Muslim extremism.

That’s the point.

Then why post it?

Why do you post almost nothing but fear porn?
