That’s a VERY interesting case and one I’ve not heard of before.

Sounds to me like the police knew who killed John Shakespeare and for whatever reason chose to bury it.

On the surface, it sounds like Wham and Devon were involved and it was somehow related to Shake’s homosexuality.

I’m definitely going to dig deeper. Thanks for posting it.

Good call. I’ve been talking to an old pal from there who’s been soaking up info on the QT for a long time, and now believes there were 3 locals in on the killing. They were well connected, and Shakespeare may have been trying to groom young boys in the neighborhood.

Cops knew just enough to know they didn’t wanna know any more than that.
