Gregg Allman denied rumors that he’d entered a hospice facility on Monday, with the Allman Brothers Band singer noting in a brief statement on Facebook that he’s “currently home in Savannah resting” on doctor’s orders. “I want to thank you for all the love that you are sending,” he continued. “Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Keep Rockin’.”
Home hospice, I’d guess.

Saw them at the Mississippi River Festival back in the early 80’s. Greatest outdoors concert I ever attended and I don’t even like the Allman Bros that much.

I can’t even count how many great concerts I saw at MRF back in the day…far more than at Ravinia in Chicago, but then I was only there for a couple of years.
MRF was a great venue for sure. But, I never saw the ABB ever, not once, and I was okay with that. I"m even MORE okay with it now.
