That stuff is really beautiful.

Eagles seem to be a theme for him…maybe related to his name and “spirit animal”.

Eagle of the Dawn is a cool name. The artwork is striking.

I like that one with the light blue in ball shape. It has a real 50’s/early 60’s modern feel to it. Like to get me one of those.

Cool stuff.

Being a born and bred BCer, I’m over the native art scene. It’s somehow become our artistic identity and I don’t feel it represents who we are at all.

Perhaps not you personally, but what about those of the First Nation?

Looks like sports logos

Maybe I shud do a yawning cat

I dunno

close call

The Seahawks’ logo was based upon a specific piece of this art form. I guess that means the art form itself gets a yawn.

Bad Rabbit - no lettuce for you

Well, if it has cat spit on it, I don’t want it anyway.

Well I have no doubt it represents them but the Haida are not a vast minority here. I’d rather see BC develop its own identity rather than taking up one that doesn’t quite fit. I think having the natives take part in that process would be an asset.
