I don’t think it’s so much that Trump is stupid, he’s just pandering to his Base, they don’t seem to care that he’s lies most if not all of the time, he is saying what they want to hear.

Well, he’s not stupid in that he understands how to promote himself. But honestly, I kind of doubt he really understands what global warming is or why it matters. He’s the kind of stupid that happens when the only things in the world that matter are your ego and your bank accounts.
