Indeed Michigan Normal is EMU. They used to be Hurons back in my day then they got politically correct and chose Eagles. They haven’t gotten dime of my money since that change. IF they had chosen a new mascot of something cool or original or with though this name change from the early 90’s might have blown over. But Eagles, fuck, every conference has an Eagles. EMU was forced to admit a while back that despite what they said for the first 15 years after the name change it’s still costing them alumni donations.
I still cheer for them but not a dime of my munny shall they have until Eagles is gone
