My partner was talking to me about hydrangeas and changing their color as it relates to soil acidity.
You can use distilled white vinegar to effect change for the flowers. 1 cup vinegar to a gallon of water. Then he starts telling me about how he reached neutrality when he used coffee grounds to turn one of the hydrangeas from pink to white. He then says he reached acidic neutrality between pink and blue.
So, I say…“Aren’t you glad you can still make good use of your chemistry PhD?”
He noted my mild sarcasm, started chuckling…then he turned the remote control in my direction to try to mute me.
