Have I mention I stayed at the Le Petite Auberge a BnB just off Union Square in SFO the same time as Gary Larson, who was there for a showing of his work someplace in town. Had breakfast with him sort of, he and his wife were a table away in the dining room and we were the only people there and the wives chattered on about touristy stuff, Gary and I exchanged a wise knowing nod and a smirk. Best breakfast of my life.
