I’m not opposed to a few common sense gun laws if there was a way to insure that the the people introducing the legislation could not build on or introduce further legislation. Like BD6, I don’t trust a lot of these politicians and worry that their ultimate goal is the outright banning of all gun rights, which I am opposed to.

The first type of restriction I would look at is placing a limit on the number of guns a person can own. I just don’t see a need for a person to own 13 fukking guns. To me, anything more than 2 or 3 is a fetish and no one needs a cache of guns to protect their property and loved one’s. I might make an exception for hunting rifles, but I’m talking hunting rifles… not fukking AR-15’s with drum clips.

No shit. In some states, a hunter might need a .243 and a .30-06 and even a .30-30. Five rounds capacity, more or less, in each one. Two bolt actions and one lever action.

And a utility shotgun, maybe even a trap gun or a duck gun if he was into that.

And by that point he already needs a gun safe.
