For my entire life the Dems have felt the need to adopt progresively left positions.
I understand as the GOP leans more and more toward authoritarianism it can SEEM like the Democrats move father to the left, relatively speaking.

I’m hoping the Trumpism finds it’s way out and Republicans can return to right of center.
I do believe, and it is obvious, that Democrats are shoveling themselves further and further left. It’s not just an “eye trick” because of Republicans.
Yeah, it is. The Democratic positions on things like health care and social safety nets were nation-wide including Republican values until the Reagan years. It’s just that the shift-right happened before you came to awareness, kid.

The Democratic positions on banning ICEs is pretty new, and extremely unsustainable…for example.
