Chauvin Verdict in

That’s what I’ve heard too.

Knifer is the girl in dark clothes.

gotta admit, as teenagers go she’s quite the heifer. OTOH, I’m wondering if this officer ever had a clear shot at her when the “victim” in pink wasn’t directly behind her. That’s some real Wyatt Earp stuff there.

She’s black, she’s big, no doubt he was fearing for his life from YARDS away.

Pretty sure the policy and the training authorize deadly force if someone else is in danger, but back in Shooting 101 there is still the “be sure of your backstop” rule.

I noted a story yesterday about the AG, Merrick Garland, announcing
a Fed investigation of the MPD. And this morning I noted a story from CNN which dissected the original MPD official press release about Floyd’s murder (as we are now calling it.)

While it’s a good story that rings no alarm bells for bias, the timing seems … well, not exactly coincidental. I’ll also crosspost the story on the Cops subforum.

Chauvin is guilty but keep in mind that he is simply a product of his society.

Yes, police culture must be readdressed.

As are we y’all.

22.5 years.
