Got the bike serviced yesterday

Gonna start off by saying I didn’t wanna pay for the service so I did my own oil change. Turned out I got sent the wrong filter- and less the two metal screens. So I changed my oil (oil was already drained), cleaned out the two metal catch screens that were full of break in debris and reused the oil filter.

Turns out the first service includes a valve clearance check, and 90% of the time a re-shim.

So I got the bike serviced and about 90 miles after my ghetto oil change, it got a real one.

The kicker is, it was about $90 in parts/oil and nearly $400 in labor.

But she’s doing great and at nearly 800 miles, I’m excited for more until I inevitably buy a faster bike.

Who’s building the fastest crotch rockets these days?

Kawasaki with the H2, I think. For street legal bike, anyway. It’s supercharged.

Gorgeous weather lately, this is one of 10 or so motorcycle lots at Boeing Everett…

Got almost 1000 miles on the bike now.

Wear a helmet, and ride like the Devil himself is after your ass!

Be safe, enjoy.
