Call it a hunch, but I think he took the gig cause he’s a sellout and he figured at the time it was good for five or six years. But once the election didn’t pan out, he figured “nobody needs the next five or six weeks of this crazy shit, and Biden’s sure not gonna ask me to holdover. Where’s my next gig, I gotta get cracking now.”
