Ok, so I just caught my first Ken Jennings episode of “Jeop” (1/15/21) I guess Ken’s 5th. Not sure what it is, something felt off, is it the absent beeps and boops, between responses, some rhythmic melodic mojo i’m not hip to yet? something felt flat.
I felt he was trying too hard to look comfortable, seemed like he wasn’t broken in enough yet.

Since my last blog entry in this thread, I’ve caught Ken a 2-3 more times, and he is seeming more comfortable at the Lectern, I even wondered if Make Up had given him a soft make-over making him “cuter” or more chill or something…and yes he isn’t Alex, so there is that too…

I’ve been watching them also, mostly to see when they start rotating hosts (spoiler: they haven’t yet). I think Ken is settling into the role smoothly. And nobody is going to be Alex…

Spoke just a second too soon.
Jennings will be done and the Jeopardy ExecProd will start a stint Feb 22nd.
Also learned that at the end of each guest host’s run, the show will match ALL winnings from that host’s run to the charity of the hosts’ choosing.
