No Immunity

The GOP is already howling retribution if they get back in power because they know what’s coming

Well at least the impartial jurists drug it out as long as possible

Turns out he does have immunity for “official acts”, which SCOTUS neglected to delineate. So this is kind of a win for Trump.

Immunity protects Presidents of Both parties.

Much of the Constitution was based on the idea that the President would be an ethical person. It didn’t account for Trump. To be fair, the coup started in 2016 when Trump started putting partisan lackeys on the court where they are supposed to be impartial.

Our Three Branches of Government are supposed to be separate and independent, clearly we have strayed from that.

We seem to have a 2 or maybe even 1 legged stool now.

So, from a “marketing” perspective, this does have a double-edge for Trump.

Given that he’s “immune” from prosecution, anything that comes out in his court case, since he has immunity, can be put on the record in his court cases.

The Democrats can seize on that in the coming months and put it all out there. En masse.
