So I’ve been using ChatGPT to do some coding on my WordPress site which is basically just a sandbox for me to play with.
I wanted some smoother transitions in the header/logo where it goes to a smaller sticky header.
It gives me the css code, it gives me the code for the javascript file and the code to enque it and shows me how to wrap it in a jquery wrapper and call jquery.
I could have a lead developer do this type of stuff and it would take them a week or two to get to it and probably an hour or more to accomplish it. It seems like it’s more likely to put lead developers out of work before it will me.
