The real reason for the Mar-a-Lago raid was to try to gain information that would benefit the Democrat Party during the upcoming November elections. They waited for two months to conduct the raid(Why?) and they then insisted that the camera system be turned off. It was a sophisticated version of Watergate; it had deniability and it could be done openly.
