A 5-pointer will get your attention, for certain, but generally won’t do any damage. My coworkers on the 3rd floor of a 4-for tower said some things fell off of shelves, but I was in my upstairs office at home and had just a 10-second slow roll. 5 minutes after there was a 3-point aftershock that my coworkers noticed, but I didn’t.
Of course the workplace slack channels lit up with new CA transplants seeing reassurance and us old-timers reminiscing about the big one of '89 (smacks dentures and waves first rule l elderly-like)
