People in Oklahoma will be tearing tags off of mattresses like crazy now.

I only tried that once.

Since then, I’ve always used scissors and a bit of care.

Shirt tags - I hate them with a passion. I learned long ago to use scissors on them.

Yeah, and also tags inside the waistband of any kind of pants including U-trou.
