She outlived Radner by a heap. That’s enough justice for me.
I think at the time it was understood that Gilda’s skits were an homage to Baba’s taboo breaking career, she was a Women’s Right’s pioneer by her career trajectory alone.
It was a vicious, cruel cheap shot “ at the time”, a talentless poseur turning a trick at the expense of someone with more integrity and talent than Roseannadana ever dreamed of possessing: it was a bullying that Radner got away with solely because Walters had too much class to rip radners partition out.
