I tried a package of this bacon, even more superber that most bacon! I just baked it on aluminum foil. Tasty and lean.

Speaking of bacon, my wife just ordered one of those packs from Omaha Steaks. She wants to try the Filet Mignon for Christmas dinner. I was livid. She burns every kind of meat she tries to cook and that shit is too expensive to be forcing myself to eat it. I explained to her that I could make Filet Mignon from ribeye and bacon at the store for 1/4 the cost. She doesn’t understand. She think Filet Mignon is some special cut of beef.

Something tells me the Filet Mignon they are selling at the SAV-A-LOT up the road is faux Filet Mignon.

About 20 years ago I bought some SAV-A-LOT beer I was more amused by my purchase than anything. :slight_smile:
