Called the “California Heritage Market,” this brainchild of Pre-ICO Los Angeles dispensary the West Coast Collective hopes to open its doors to medical marijuana patients July 4 weekend.
As long as you’re a California medical-marijuana card holder, you’ll be able to visit an array of vendor booths manned by new-age farmers peddling items ranging from (marijuana) flowers to edibles to tinctures. The California Heritage Market’s goal is to provide an infrastructure for transparency by allowing consumers to interface directly with the growers, edible makers, and and all producers of medicinal marijuana products.
For those willing to make the trek to East Los Angeles–the farm seems to be an indoor one located at the West Coast Collective–the market should offer cannabis at a lower price than patients would find at the dispensary.
