I do on some things, I’ve got tons of lettuce, arugula, swiss chard, basil, marigold and some other things. But unless you have a lot of room to keep stuff separated your tomatoes and peppers will likely end up cross pollinating into something you might not want, like those habanero pepperoncini peppers I ended up with last year that I bought on ebay.
