I believe he is the gentleman that Letterman once referred to as a ‘fat tub of goo’ back in the 80’s, Dave had Phil on a few days later and apologized.
I saw him pitch once, at wrigley. His knuckleball was so ferocious that even from the stands you couldn’t see where it went.
