I will be 90% in 2024. Hopeful, but I am used to being ‘clouded out’ for these events.

It’s overcast now, but it is noticeably darker now. at 9:02 peak ring due at 9:15

I think overcast is the rule not the exception for eclipses.

This is fake. Everyone knows that you can’t see the eclipse when it is overcast!
You could visit your sister in 2024, just sayin’.
